For every pound of coal utilized in our products we permanently sequester 2.5 pounds of CO2.

Coal is an abundant resource and for so long has only been thought of as a fuel source. At X-MAT we are Re-Imagining coal and working diligently on value-added applications that take advantage of its unique makeup and harness its full potential.
Revitalization
With the historical decrease in coal power plants, West Virginia has been hit especially hard economically. We hope that our technology will not only support current coal mining jobs but will create new, high-value manufacturing jobs in these distressed coal communities.
